Spring in the grasslands

Every day in the grasslands is unique and unexpected. We live in times of great geo-political unrest and to me, it is important to re-discover beauty, reconnect with nature and create art. If I close my eyes, all I see is kangaroos, sunlight, trees and my beloved grasslands. I open them and the headlines quote terror plots, beheadings and shootings. What a crazy world we are living in! Is this really what we want our kids to grow up with, as a limit of normality?
So, spring has sprung indeed in the grasslands and I have been very busy trying to catch a glimpse of it, in between appointments, family events, kids wrangling and daily routines.
